Location and Load-In
229 Great Portland Street | London | W1W 5PN – located in basement with two separate dedicated ground floor entrances.
Venue 1: Load-in via back of stage fire exit, (Park Crescent Mews East) one flight of stairs direct to stage or key operated lifts from ground floor then push to venue.
Venue 2: Load-in via purple canopied entrance. One flight of stairs from street level to basement.

Licensing
All bars are licensed to sell alcohol and for performance of live/recorded music until the following times:
Bars: Sunday – Wednesday 12pm | Thursday 1am | Friday – Saturday 3am
Live Music: Performance curfew 11pm

Dressing Rooms: On request only and subject to availability – two large spaceous rooms with direct access to back stage and own exit to street. Can be furnished with tables and seating as required. Direct access to showers and toilets.
Riders/Catering: 229 will supply all drinks riders at cost price + 10% + VAT. No drinks must be brought on to the premises. 229 has an on site canteen open until 7.30pm, serving hot meals/snacks/sandwiches etc. 229 will happily arrange meals at a rate to be agreed.
No facilities for tour caterers. Full menu selection available for catered events (ordered by the venue through our contracted caterers).
Pit Barrier: 229 has a high stage, so a pit barrier is generally not required. However, depending on the nature of the act/event, one may be required. This will be at the venue’s discretion and the cost of which will be passed on to the promoter.
Merchandise: Should the promoter/act wish to sell merchandise, there will be a fee payable of £25.00 per stand or 10% of gross takings, whichever the greater.
Door times: Open no earlier than 7.00pm.
