Absent Kelly Introducing: Artizan

Saturday 18th November
Doors: 7pm
Tickets: £6 ADV / £8 OTD – Available HERE

Full Line Up: Artizan, Cove, The Malarkey, Jennings Couch, ELISEØ.

Indie Rock ‘N’ Roll is the name of the game at 229 this November!

Topping the evening’s bill is Artizan. This South London quartet may be relatively new to the scene but are already turning heads with their quirky Rock ‘N’ Roll packed with witty lyrics and catchy riffs. This sound has seen them feature on local radio and play some of the Capital’s best loved venues.

Indie pop quartet Cove will be providing support. These guys craft sublime and infectious indie that has seen them play alongside huge names like Razorlight and Carl Barat and we can see big things on the horizon for this band!

Bristolian indie rockers, The Malarkey will be there too. With a raucous feel and shouty dual vocals, these guys are reminiscent of The Libertines, with a fresh modern edge. Bagging slots alongside bands like Trampolene shows these guys are ones to watch.

We’re also joined by Jennings Couch, an artist originally from New York City, but now based in London. Expect soaring atmospheric indie from Jennings Couch that has got him featured in reputable music publications such as Clash Mag.

ELISEØ is a singer-songwriter, who is now based in Guildford after honing his craft on the London underground music scene. Expect classic folk intertwined with electronic elements to create something super fresh!
